 After-School Programs

Private Music Lessons

Private Instruction is available on variety of instruments including piano, voice, guitar, woodwind, brass and percussion.  Instructors are professionals in the area who teach on campus at St. John .  Fees are paid directly to the instructor and scheduling is at the instructor´┐Żs discretion.

Visual Arts: The Artmakers

Sheryl Whittaker, St. John visual arts instructor, offers after-school art classes. Classes will include work in watercolor painting, drawing, pastels, charcoal, art history and more. Classes are offered in four-week sessions.   The fee covers all supplies and instruction.

The Artmakers classes are open to students in pre-kindergarten and above on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays beginning at 3:00 p.m.  Fees are paid directly to Ms. Whittaker.

Technology Classes

Mark Alsdorf, instructor of computer technology at St. John , offers after-school classes in computer technology including web design.   Courses are available on a monthly basis for students in pre-kindergarten and above.  Fees are paid directly to Mr. Aldsdorf.

Mad Science

Mad Science, a science enrichment class, returns to St. John in January of 2007 with an exciting new class in conjunction with NASA.  This course offers an opportunity for students in grades 2-6 to participate in hands-on science including balloon rockets, star study, constellations and a Skyblazer II Rocket.  The eight-week course is $105.00 and fees are paid directly to Mad Science, Inc.  The class will be offered January 18th through March 8th, Thursdays from 3:00-4:00 p.m.
