Conclusion

This WebQuest requires students to combine their social studies skills with their research and technology skills. By the time they complete this WebQuest, students will have a pretty clear idea of what is involved in planning a family vacation on a budget. They will have studied one country in Western Europe in greater detail, and learned about its transportation system or culture or geography. They will have contributed to a team effort on a project, and learned more about compromising. They will also have learned the importance of sticking to a budget. Hopefully, they will have had some fun in the process! Who knows? Maybe they will even help their parents plan their next big trip using their newly acquired skills!
