Introduction

This lesson was developed as the final project for an online course entitled Problem Based Learning with WebQuests offered by the University of Northern Iowa.

This WebQuest is designed to help students gain a better understanding what is involved in planning a family vacation on a limited budget, while learning more about a European country of their choice. Students will work in groups of three to plan a week-long family vacation for three on a budget of $6,000. They will have to work closely with their classmates to choose a country, plan a realistic itinerary for their trip, and create a detailed budget.
